CESA #4 2013 Washburn Academy Information is Now Online

The rapid changes and increased complexity of today’s world presents new challenges and puts new demands on our education system. It is our goal at Washburn Academy to bring our educators highly-skilled presenters who understand the direction Wisconsin schools are headed, by addressing such topics as the Educator Effectiveness, Common Core Standards, and RTI to name a few.

It is hard to believe that this is Washburn Academy’s 20th Anniversary. Here are a few of the highlights and changes that you can look forward at this year’s Academy.

1. Washburn Academy Catalog is online ONLY. Click on the Academy brochure cover and find out all about Washburn Academy.
2. Leadership Academy: “Educator  Effectiveness” by The Danielson Group
3. Keynote speaker: Jennifer Livingston made international news when bullying became personal.
4. UW-L credit will be handled exclusively through UW-La Crosse.
5. All workshops during Washburn, Leadership and Pre/Post Academies will have a 1 or 2 credit option.
