CESA #4 recognizes that continuous learning (for educators) has never been more imperative than in today’s world of new standards, collaborative learning, and Educator Effectiveness, to name a few of the current initiatives.
The goal of the Coaching by Design service is to provide educators--teachers and administrators--with the individualized support and tools necessary to effect the changes envisioned for self, school, and/or district. Such services might include, but are not limited to, support related to math, literacy, technology, Professional Learning Community, leadership, or school improvement.
Your Coaching by Design service will be provided by the CESA #4 Director(s) most qualified to provide that support, and backed by the rest of the team. Following your indication of interest, one or more members of the Instructional Services Team will meet with you to tailor your services and allocate the appropriate amount of time. Please contact Nicole Cooksey to initiate this process.

“Coaching is an essential component of an effective professional development program. Coaching can build will, skill knowledge, and capacity… Coaching can foster conditions in which deep reflection and learning can take place, where an educator can take risks to change his/her practice, where powerful conversations can take place, and where growth is recognized and celebrated.”
