Many special educators and therapists are expected to provide consultation and/or services to students in general education and community settings, but few feel they have had adequate preparation to do the job well. Participants in this learning community will keep up to date on Wisconsin’s State Performance Plan (SPP) early childhood indicators, #6, #7, & #12, review functional IEP goals and LRE requirements (a.k.a. Preschool Options), and engage in reflective practices to develop competencies to be an effective consultant or itinerant service provider. Participants may register for sessions individually or for the series of four (recommended).

Target Audience: special educators and therapists who serve children with IEPs, age 3-6 years.
Each session includes a light meal. Participants can register for an entire series or for individual sessions – but you must register at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan for food and materials (we appreciate registrations ASAP).
Credit Options: For each of the 3 series described above, 1 credit (grad/undergrad) has been applied for. You can enroll for 1, 2, or 3 credits @ $90 each (1 credit each series).
