Equity issues have taken on new importance under the Federal No Child Left Behind Law, as school districts are responsible for all students achieving high standards. Adequate yearly progress (AYP) calculations require schools to examine student sub-groups based upon gender, ethnicity, social economic status, etc. Technical assistance and support on equity issues is recommended to assist districts in accomplishing this federal expectation.

Assistance in responding to Title IX legislation

Providing educational resources related to equity (e.g., curriculums, videos, workbooks)

Reduced registration fees at CESA#4 sponsored equity workshops

Consultation on issues such as sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, and reducing bias in the school environment
