Introduction:
The primary purpose of Instructional Services programming is to provide leadership and support services for CESA #4 school districts in standards-based curriculum, balanced assessment, and high quality instruction to ensure student success. Instructional Services consultants also offer professional development opportunities, support DPI trainings, provide technical assistance, and serve as liaisons with many different organizations.
Services include CESA-based workshops, customized in-district training and consultation, summer academy workshops and leadership training for administrative and teaching staff. Opportunities are also available to assist in developing paraprofessional knowledge and skills in working with students, staff and community.
Networking opportunities are provided in areas such as Title I, Reading, Adolescent Literacy, the Principalship, and other areas more specific to particular needs. As content and instructional needs continue to change and grow, the Instructional Services team continues to learn, grow and provide effective leadership for CESA #4 districts and schools.
Mission:
The mission of the Instructional Services Team is to provide quality professional development in order to improve learning for all students. This is accomplished by promoting a comprehensive, coherent, and coordinated school improvement effort at district, school, and classroom levels.
