There are MANY new developments at Washburn Academy! The exciting news is that Washburn Academy is more affordable than ever. Thanks to the wonderful contributions of our friends in the business community, workshop fees for the 2012 Academy have been significantly reduced!  Workshop fees for the weeklong Academy will be $75 LESS than last year!

In other new developments, Washburn Academy is offering, on a pilot basis, some workshops that are less than a full week in length. Please see page 5 in the catalog for Pre- and Post-Academy workshops, which vary in length.

Washburn Academy catalogs will be delivered to CESA #4 school districts in early February. Please follow your own district’s registration guidelines, but be aware that this year everyone must register ONLINE. See the Washburn Academy catalog (Page 7) for instructions.

Begin now to plan for your summer professional development. Our wide variety of workshops includes; The Daily 5, The Café, Love & Logic, Google Tools, SMARTBoards, iPads (with iPads provided), Project-Based Learning, RtI, and many workshops that will help you be prepared for the new Common Core State Standards.

And don’t forget, Washburn’s Leadership Academy
will take your district to the next level in their
Professional Learning Community (PLC) journey!
